Empowerment Project, Inc. is a statewide member agency
that holds it’s Annual Meeting where members elect the Board of Directors during the fall
conference of each year.

of Directors is currently 100% mental health consumer/survivor
controlled.
Board meetings are held in Madison on a bi-monthly basis.

Executive
Committee holds teleconference call meetings on the
months the full Board does not meet.

Anyone
can attend a Board meeting as a guest.

All Grassroots Empowerment Project, Inc. staff members are mental health consumers/survivors.

Empowerment Project, Inc. is also a member agency of
Community Shares of Wisconsin, the oldest social action
fund in the country, which connects donors with nearly
60 local (Dane County) nonprofits building social and
economic equity and a healthy environment. |
